My Team Captain has registered our Team for the Upcoming Season, what is the next play?

The most important step of the Team Captain registering your Team is complete! Now you must register for the specific League's Division as a Player for that Team. Each League's page has tabs with each Division offered in that region. Select the Division your Team is playing in and select the "Player Registration" link. You are now signed up and ready to go!

I am interested in this Division, however I have no Team to play with. What should I do?

Want to play, but don't have a team to play with? Not a problem! Find your specific Division under the 'Info|Registration' tab and sign up with the link - Player Registration. When signing up under the 'Player Registration' tab, select the option 'Free Agent' to be place on a our "Free Agent List".

Once signed up as a 'Free Agent', the Division Head will then find a team needing Players to place you on OR use the remaining list of Free Agents to form "Free Agent Teams". IF there is no Teams looking for extra skaters in the desired Division and we do not have enough 'Free Agents' to form a team - The PPHL will come up with alternatives to find a place for you to skate. If we cannot place you anywhere, we will refund you.

"As a registered 'Free Agent', how does the process work for the Season?

Once you register as a 'Free Agent', the PPHL will first try and fill the current Teams that are registered in the Division. Once all registered Teams are filled and the need of an extra Team is needed, we will create a Team off of the remaining 'Free Agents'.

The PPHL is currently in a Season, can I still join a Team and be eligible for Playoffs?

Yes - Players are able to still register for a specific team during the Season. The payment will be pro-rated to cover the remaining balance along with the other Team Players - this is the responsibility of your Team Captain.

Eligibility for playoffs requires you to register as a "Full-Time" Player AND must be rostered and present for six (6) regular season games.

I am turning 18 during the upcoming Season. Can I register though I am under the age of 18?

No. You must be 18 years of age in order to register for ANY PPHL event. IF you are currently 17 and turning into during the Season; you must wait until your birthday in order to register for a Team or become a 'Free Agent'. The price for that season will vary depending on Location, Team (total players rostered), etc. The PPHL will work this out and get you on the ice immediately!

What is the 'Emergency Goalie 911' program? What does it cost to register?

During the course of a Season, priorities in our lives will take precedent over our adult hockey teams, and we may need to find a replacement goalie within hours of a game. This is where our 'Emergency Goalie 911' program steps in. We have a FREE registration page where goalies can sign up and offer their services to be last-minute fill-ins for a Team that needs a goalie!
