I am Team Captain and looking to add my Team in a PPHL League. What steps do I take?

First off - Welcome to the PPHL!
Secondly - the
Team Captain MUST register the Team in the specific League's Division before any players on the team register. Once the Team Captain successfully registers their team, then players should register with the 'Player Registration' link provided on the League page.
Lastly - reach out to the Division Head assigned to the specific League's Division. He or She will be able to help you and also share more information to help answer any extra questions you may have!

Does the PPHL put a Deadline to Register for an Upcoming Season?

Power Play closes registration for an upcoming Season 2 Weeks before the start of the new Season. This allows the PPHL to schedule proper amount of ice and create a Season schedule for each specific League.

THERE are times where there is an odd amount of teams and an extra team is needed. The PPHL can be lenient in these situations and work with the Team Captain in order to fill the last team spot to secure an even numbered amount of teams for the season.

I would like to have Team Custom Uniforms. Can the PPHL help my Team order Uniforms?

Absolutely! IF you would like Power Play to order your custom designed uniforms, please email - info@powerphockey.com (subject line: "Custom Uniforms").

PLEASE NOTE: Prices of uniforms are all different and depend on volume, design, and S/H costs. Keep in mind that uniforms can take up to 3-6 Weeks to come in, so please order in time for uniforms to arrive BEFORE start of the Season.

Okay, what if my Team does not have the minimum requirement of 10 players?

Not a problem! If the Team needs a couple more Skaters and/or Goalie, should contact their Division Head who can help assign Free Agents to their team. Team Captains should reach out immediately for extra players as Free Agents are limited, and are first come, first served.

PLEASE NOTE - Team Captains that bail on Season last minute (<1 Week before Season) will be billed $500.00 for Team deposit. PPHL asks that Team Captains are communicative with the Division Heads and allow us to get your team prepared for the Season!

My Team and Players are successfully registered for the upcoming Season, what is next?

Now that your Team is ready, there are a couple of tasks to now do as Team Captain.
First - You must update your "Team Page" on the website under the League's Division you are playing in. This requires you to update the roster with Player Names and the number they wear on your team. This is a REQUIREMENT for the PPHL and Department of Player Safety to properly identify players. Once you are registered, you should receive further instructions on how to manage your Team Page. This should be done BEFORE your first game and constantly updated when new players or subs are added to the roster.
Second -  it is up to the Team Captain to have MATCHING Team Uniforms and an assigned number to EACH Player (Full-Time & Subs). This is important for two reasons. (1) - it allowed the PPHL to track your stats LIVE while your game is in play. Our Scorekeeper fill out an online game sheet through SportsEngine that updates the League and Team Pages automatically with each Goal or penalty per Game. (2) - it allows the PPHL, Game Officials, and Dept of Player Safety to identify who each Player is.
Make sure your Team has uniforms BEFORE Game #2, otherwise the PPHL will charge the team $250.00 and provide basic PPHL uniforms for the Season.
Third - The last task, is payments. Make sure all Players know their costs and are paying on time. Teams that have an outstanding balance will be warned to pay. IF balances are not current, Teams can be kept off the ice resulting in forfeit(s), and banned from entering League Playoffs. Keep the Team honest and on time with payments so you all have a chance to hoist the Stanley Keg!
